Share a news tip or public record

A campaign filing that raises a question. A contract on a meeting agenda. Political messaging whose funding is unclear. If something in your town or county deserves closer attention, tell us what you found and why it matters.

You do not need to have a complete story. A specific question and a place to start looking can be useful. Public records and verifiable source material help connect an observation to evidence.

Suggest a correction

Accuracy depends on getting the details right. If you spot an error in an article, chart, or dataset, please send the page link, identify the passage or figure, and explain what appears to be incorrect. Include a supporting source when you have one.

Missing context matters, too. If a record has been amended, a link no longer works, or a finding needs more explanation, let us know where to look.

Ask about our research or data

Questions about a source, a calculation, or how to read a visualization are welcome. Tell us which article or dataset you are using and what you are trying to understand. For a data question, include the geography, reporting period, and measure you are looking at so we can identify the same view.

Visit the About page to learn more about our focus on money, media, and political power and how we approach the evidence.
